The Swift Dzire is a compact sedan for up to four passengers and their bags. It is quiet on the open highway, easy to place in the narrow lanes of temple towns, and the right size when two or three people are making a day of it rather than moving house.
The trade-off is luggage. Two cabin bags and one larger bag fit in the boot without stacking; a fourth bag or a big suitcase makes it tight. For the roads out of Hyderabad it suits the straight highway runs to Warangal and Karimnagar, and the Srisailam road, whose ghat section is twisty but not a steep climb. For longer trips with more people or more luggage, step up to the Ertiga or Innova.
